<p>The MBSR is a structured, standardized method for teaching stress reduction groups. MBSR The term was originally used by <em>Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D.</em>, to name a program used in patients with pain that incorporated the principles of mindfulness meditation (mindfulness) traditional yoga and awareness techniques body.<span id="more-925"></span></p>
<p>The MBSR teaches the use of focused attention (often through the use of a physical sensation, such as breathing) on ​​a single target at a time. Whenever thoughts intrude, the person simply return your attention or focus to the original target. The MBSR also encourages the patient to focus on the present rather than future or the past. This practice has proven effective in some clinical applications, such as chronic pain.</p>
<p>In a new study, researchers assigned to survivors of breast cancer at an early stage MBSR treatment group or control group. Participants in the MBSR group had significant improvements in both psychological outcomes such as physiological. These improvements included a reduction in blood pressure and heart rate. The MBSR group participants also experienced significant reductions in stress. However, the authors found that stress reduction was not sustained at follow-up period of one month.</p>
<p>Although the findings are promising, additional research is needed to evaluate them thoroughly.</p>

<p>There are many different ideas, even contradictory about what meditation but the basic approach is the need for the meditator to understand the nature of his mind rather than fight with him.</p>
<p>Please understand that meditation has nothing to do with the life of a monk or ascetic who seeks to cut the world as is too often perceived. This is not a creed or religion. You do not need to change your life for you to open meditation. Meditation is a quality in you that is simply a party or otherwise stated an internal vigilance and mindfulness in the present moment.</p>
<p>There are many meditation techniques that help the beginner to learn and get in touch with his inner life: for example, Vipassana meditation, Zazen, the active Osho meditations, meditations Tantric Buddhist meditations, etc.. etc..<br />
But the ultimate sense, meditation is a technique, it is an understanding, an awareness of what we really are.</p>
<p>The final understanding is often a long way off for us and that&#8217;s why techniques of meditation are necessary until the state of meditation has become not just a one-time experience but an intrinsic part of ourselves, while like breathing for example.</p>
<p>It is us and only us, we can find deep relaxation, peace and true love.</p>

<p><strong>Basically, we all know, but we forget so often!</strong></p>
<p>Most of the time we removed or dominated by our thoughts or feelings. It follows that we tend to believe that we are these thoughts, these emotions. Meditation is that state of Being, just being a pure experience without interference from the body or mind. It is a natural state that we have forgotten the access.</p>
<p>To meditate means &#8220;to become a witness, to simply observe the thoughts, emotions and physical sensations that are in us. It is a process no longer identify with the outer personality with the ego.</p>
<p>Meditation helps us simply no longer be a slave to this world of thoughts and emotions, but to become an observer, a silent witness who acquires the natural ability to know what is really its own kind.</p>
<p>Once we are free, spacious and quiet, life becomes more harmonious! If you feel comfortable, open to others, sensitive, more relaxed and quiet, then you&#8217;re on the right track!</p>
